Debreceni vs Fiorentina
A win against Debreceni would bring the Viola to the brink of the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Fiorentina are hoping to have Mutu and Jovetic for the match. Mutu is trying to recover from a knee injury while Jovetic is suffering from a problematic toe.
If they cannot recover than Gilardino will lead the attack as Fiorentina go for a third consecutive win in the competition.
Debreceni go to Italy in the midst of poor form domestically that has seen them fall to sixth in the standings, 10 points behind league leaders Videoton.
Player to watch:
Gilardino is Fiorentina’s undisputed danger-man up front and with injury concerns over some of the other attacking talent the Viola will hope the Italian can produce some more magic.
Match Prediction:
I predict a 3-0 win for Fiorentina. The 4-3 result a fortnight ago was fluke and the Viola will have few problems with the Hungarians at home.

Lyon vs Liverpool
Liverpool will face European oblivion Wednesday night as they match up again Lyon. The English side needs to get a result from this match because if they lose than they will be out of the Champions League competition.
Gerrard continues to struggle with injuries.
Lyon has been in brilliant form this season after a disappointing campaign last year. They sit top of Group E with three wins from three attempts.
Player to watch:
Miralem Pjanic, the 19 year old has been Lyon’s best player in Europe. He leads the team in goals and assists (2 each) and Liverpool will have to shut him down if they want any chance of beating Lyon.
Match Prediction:
I predict a 2-0 win for Lyon. Liverpool are not playing well and Lyon will not have a lot of problems with them at home.
