Real Madrid vs. FC Zurich

After leapfrogging Barcelona to the summit of La Liga and with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to fitness, the buzz has returned to Real Madrid who are out to secure their progress into the last 16. Bernard Challandes takes his Zurich side to Spain knowing they are the under dogs but he refuses to be intimidated by his multi-million pound rivals.

Ronaldo’s return to fitness is the big news ahead of kick off while Manuel Pellegrini will be without Guti. Other that that, he’ll have a full squad to chose from with interesting decisions to be made up front with Raul, Benzema, van Nistelrooy and Higuain all fighting for game time.

Player to watch:

Cristano Ronaldo. The world best player is expected to start and he’ll bring his usual mix of tricks, skills and immense talent to Madrid’s forward line. Expect fire works from the Portugal winger.

Match prediction: Real Madrid 3-1 Zurich

AC Milan vs. Marseilles

Two superb players turned coaches Leonardo and Didier Deschamps go to battle as AC Milan look to maintain their advantage over Real Madrid and secure top spot in the group.

Marseilles edged a crunch derby with PSG at the weekend at that sort of energy and passion will be needed to overcome Milan who won 4-3 at home to Cagliari. With Pato, Borriello and Ronaldinho all getting on target, the hosts possess a massive goal threat but in form defender Gabirel Henize is prepared for a tough evening.

Player to watch:

Gabriel Henize – Bang in form in both boxes. He’s scoring important goals and helping keep them out at the other end. Another big performance required.

Match prediction: AC Milan 2-1 Marseilles

Play Beautiful!
